The Mandarin Mod Asian - inspired jilbab is extremely trend driven. In warm shades of teal and spruce blue and constructed of a durable, yet lightweight poly twill and cotton jersey blend, this jilbab can work across all seasons. The mandarin mock closure and contrast fabric on the sleeves, neck and kick pleat add unique, modern and stylish detail. Easy to wear a myriad of ways - you choose whether to dress it up or down.

'Modest fit and comfortability is right at the top of things our sisters look for when shopping for their jilbabs, abayas, tops or bottoms.'

Silk Route has gone beyond the fashion industry norms to give their customers up to 4 different fits in 5 different lengths, catering for a wide range of body frames and heights.

SILK ROUTE CLOTHING

Our apparels are offered in up to 4 fittings; Slim, Regular, Loose and Extra Loose. Thereafter, we provide up to 5 lengths for heights 5'0" - 5'8" (152-172 cm). Have a look below to see how Silk Route fittings corresponds to international sizing and matches up with the sizing standards of your country/region.

Silk Route Jilbabs and Abayas are available in all four fits. Slim and Regular come in 5 lengths for heights 5'0" - 5'8" (152-172 cm). Loose and Extra Loose are available in the most common heights (see chart below). So, if you are 5'4" tall and a UK size 12, your ideal Jilbab or Abaya size would be Regular 56.

Silk Route tops come in 4 fittings and various lengths (thigh, knee and 3/4 lengths) to suite your height, whilst maintaining your preference of modesty and giving you more styling options. So, if you are a UK size 12 your ideal top fitting would be Regular.

Silk Route Hijabs come in one length and 3 different widths because we know customers love having options on how they style their hijabs. The maxi hijab are great for coverage without compromising on style.

HOW TO MEASURE

    Measurements should be taken directly on your body.
    A: Measure your chest over the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra that fits.
    B: Measure your waist at the narrowest point.
    C: Your seat measurement should be measured around the fullest part of your seat.
    D: Inner leg length is measured from the top of your inside leg down to the floor.

We know that sometimes you receive a product and maybe it’s not the correct fit you thought it was or there may be some fault with the product that we were not aware of. We want you to know that we have a very open return policy for items you might want to return and have exchanged or returned and refunded completely. Just follow our easy steps and we’ll process the return as quickly as possible once received; with a big smile knowing that you are being given the best customer service possible.

1) We advise that as soon as you’ve received your order open it and give it a check over and try it on.

2) You may realise that the fit, length, colouration is not right or there is a fault with the item/s, it’s OK. Simply put the item back in the original package and fill out the accompanying return slip with the Order number and the reason/s for returning. If you would like an exchange mention that here too. You will find your Order number on the confirmation email. 

3) In case if you haven't received any return form or lost it please email us at gb@islamicdesignhouse.com and we will send you one insha'Allah. Please do not return any item without a duly filled return form.  

4) Items needed to be returned for an exchange/refund will need to be delivered back to us within 14 days of you receiving it, 21 days for international customers.

5) Also please make sure that returned items have not been worn and are in their original packaging with all the tags still attached.

6) Your return will process in 5 working days after we receive it.
